Pudokids is built for families. We keep only what the app needs to work, and we never sell data or use it for advertising. The data controller is Carlos Villanueva, an individual based in Chile. You can write to cmvp1976@gmail.com.
About the adult: name, email, password (encrypted), language and time zone.
About each kid: name or nickname, date of birth, chosen avatar and an encrypted PIN.
About the family's activity: tasks, quizzes and their answers, points, rewards, badges and approvals.
Technical data: the IP address of each sign-in or sign-up attempt, used only to stop abuse and deleted shortly after.
We don't ask for kids' email, photos, location or contact details. Only the responsible adult can create, change or delete their profiles, and by doing so confirms they are authorized to.
Please don't write sensitive data (health, diagnoses, detailed school records or other people's data) in custom tasks, rewards or assistant instructions.
Only to make the app work: build the weekly plan, keep track of points, show progress and send you verification and password reset emails. We don't build commercial profiles, show ads or share data with third parties for those purposes.
We use a few providers, only to run the service:
Hostinger hosts the server with the app and the database.
Resend sends emails; it receives your email address and the message content.
Anthropic processes AI assistant instructions, only if you use it: it receives your instruction, the age band and the language, and your kids' names are replaced by a placeholder before sending.
Google (Google Analytics) receives browsing data from the public pages, such as pages visited, device type and approximate country, only if you accept analytics cookies.
Some of these providers process data outside Chile, for example in the United States.
We use the cookies needed to keep you signed in, remember the devices enabled for kids and save preferences like language and theme.
On the public pages (home, sign-up, terms and privacy) we use Google Analytics to learn how many people visit and how they find us, only if you accept it in the cookie notice. It's not used inside the app (family panel and kids' view). You can change your choice with the “Cookies” link at the bottom of the home page.
We don't use advertising cookies.
As long as your account exists. If you delete it, all its data and your kids' data are deleted; backup copies are deleted automatically within 14 days at most. Google Analytics data is kept for 14 months.
Because the service is in a testing phase, data may also be lost or reset due to technical changes (see the terms of service).
The connection is encrypted (HTTPS). Passwords and PINs are stored encrypted and nobody can see them, not even the administrator. Kids can only sign in on devices you enable, and you can revoke them in Settings.
You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, or object to its use, under Chilean Law 19,628 on privacy. You can correct and delete almost everything yourself in the app: a kid's profile or your whole account can be deleted in Settings. For any other request, write to cmvp1976@gmail.com; we answer within 30 days at most.
If we change it in an important way, we'll let you know in the app or by email before the change applies.
